Kazakhstan will build the largest transport and logistics terminal in this country near Tashkent. The new project was launched by the presidents of the two states, Khabar 24 reports. Its implementation will be handled by a subsidiary of RTS Holding. The Kazakh operator plans to allocate about $ 300 million for the construction of the center. High-quality service, own infrastructure and thoughtful logistics. The new transport and logistics terminal will become a place that can simultaneously receive a large number of different wagons. The modern center will become the largest in Uzbekistan, which has no analogues in this country yet.

Timur Karabayev, Chairman of the Management Board of PTC Holding: — Today Uzbekistan is a transit country in relation to the Central Asian countries, today there is a very large trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, between Uzbekistan and China. And all these traffic flows, today it is necessary to serve on modern infrastructure. At the final stage of construction, the total area of warehouses will be almost 250 thousand square meters, the total capacity of railway tracks will be over a thousand wagons, and 11 thousand units of containers.

Nazhmiddin Sharipov, Deputy Khokim of Tashkent region: — It is very important for us to have such a foreign terminal that meets international requirements, which provided the entire transit of our cargo not only inside the republic, but also outside, because Uzbekistan has recently started producing a lot of export-oriented goods. Cargo will be delivered from China, CIS countries, the Persian Gulf and other countries. They plan to transport a wide range of goods: from food to industrial raw materials and textiles. The implementation of the joint project will increase the trade turnover between the countries. The volume of trade can reach up to $ 10 billion.
