PTC CARGO BECOMES OPERATOR OF THE FIRST REGULAR TRAIN FROM CHINA TO GEORGIA

The first regular container train went to Georgia from the city of Uvey to the province of Gansu. The final destination of the freight train is Tbilisi, where the cargo will arrive in 10-12 days.

The Uvei City Platform Unit entrusted PTC Cargo to find the cargo and form a train on the route Uvei – Altynkol – Aktau port – Baku trading wharf – Gardebani – Tbilisi. The train consists of 50 large containers, 43 of which are sent to Azerbaijan and Georgia. The containers were provided by the company’s partner – ADY Container.

According to the Georgian Ambassador, in China Archil Kalandia, the project is of strategic importance, will contribute to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor and the positioning of Georgia as a regional hub in the fields of trade, transport and logistics.
